Lineage Storms YouTube

Making a feature film was a very new venture for us at Ubisoft, a production that has clearly been very well received by the fans! 24 hours after the release of part 1 we had amassed an amazing 1.7 million views and were the most viewed YouTube video on the day of release. The video also received thousands of comments with some excellent feedback.

Assassin’s Creed II Original Soundtrack

Once again the award-winning composer Jesper Kyd has created an epic soundtrack for Assassin’s Creed II. Following his atmospheric score for the original Assassin’s Creed, he has created a wonderful score reflecting the time period and Ezio’s character perfectly. For those of you unfamiliar with Jesper Kyd’s work, head over to his website for a sample of this incredible soundtrack.

OPM calls Assassin’s Creed 2 “a master-class in sandbox gameplay”

Another top score for Assassin’s Creed II, this time from Official PlayStation Magazine.  In their words, the game is “Brilliant” and the “world is rich and complicated”. Their final recommendation? “Cancel your plans for Christmas Holiday, we’re spending ours in Italy.” High praise indeed.

Assassin’s Creed: Lineage Part 1

The answers he uncovers implicate Italy’s most powerful families reaching all the way back to the Vatican itself. As Giovanni draws closer to the truth, he becomes hunted himself. Lineage is the prequel to the Assassin’s Creed II story, revealing the machinations of 15th century Italy through the actions of Ezio’s father, Giovanni.
